Monaco, without a doubt, is considered the world metropolis of luxury shopping. Almost every woman would like to go there at least once in her life. Be it a visit to the casino or browsing through the boutiques: Monaco still remains the epitome of luxury at the Côte. All high-class boutiques and design shops are within walking distance of each other. If you still prefer to drive up in your brand-new vehicle, many public garages are available – the purchased items after all need adequate transport. Leading fashion brands like to open their first shops in the Principality.  The most renowned ready-to-wear labels, French haute couture brands, perfumeries, as well as jewellery designers have made the small principality at the Côte d’Azur into the perfect stage to present their creations.

“Cercle d’Or” means “Golden circle” – and is a very fitting metaphor in this case. Spread over only a handful of streets in the centre of luxury paradise Monte Carlo you will find a plethora of fashion boutiques of all the famous designer and luxury labels. The boutiques of the “Cercle d’Or” and the Galerie der Allées Lumières offer you the newest designs by fashion creators. Lovers of exclusive jewellery will also be thrilled: Place du Casino and the neighbouring streets form a giant jewellery display, consisting of Cartier, Chopard, Van Cleef&Arpels, Bulgari, Piaget, and Repossi. If you don’t find what you’re looking for here, you won’t find it anywhere! Renowned antiques dealers or decorating specialists like Fersen, Adriano Ribolzi, Gismondi Pastor among many others await art lovers and luxury shoppers. Monaco has something for everyone! Only a few steps further, on the Avenue des Beaux-Arts you will find luxurious fashion houses like Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, or Louis Vuitton, who run exclusive shops in Monaco. You will also find the boutiques of Chanel and Lanvin in the immediate vicinity.

The Condamine, PORT HERCULE and THE YCM Gallery

Luxury lovers who still appreciate a down-to-earth vibe will feel right at home in the neighbourhood of Condamine. Its range of shopping opportunities is among the best in the Principality. About 200 boutiques are scattered over the typical Monegasque neighbourhood, around the traditional market, the Port Hercule, the Rue Grimaldi, the Rue Millo, and the Rue Terrazzani. Highly specialised merchants have their shops here. And the more relaxed atmosphere suggests that – to quote Goethe – “Here I am human, here I am allowed to be really human”!

Yacht Club Monaco, short YCM, is the new shopping destination of choice in the Principality. The shops on the club’s quay offer a glamorous stroll right in the middle of Hercule Harbour. It is certainly a good spot for lovers of sophisticated Rolex luxury watch collections but you might also opt for purchasing a new stylish outfit at Brooks Brothers and afterwards go and sample some of the 2,300 choice wines at Wine Palace Monte Carlo. At YCM you can also insure your mega yacht. “Only Yacht”, a broker specialised on insuring luxury ships, offers the service right there. Maybe this is the best business idea for this harbour, but attractive looks are also valuable on a luxury yacht.

Even if you do not find what you are after at the “Cercle d’Or” or the other shopping paradises – which we consider unlikely – a visit to Monte Carlo’s historic centre is worthwhile, not least because of the splendid architecture.  Either you like Monaco, or you don’t, almost nobody is on the fence. Find out for yourself how you and your charming companion from Excellent Escorts like the exclusive principality – it is always worth a trip!
